1984 7-Eleven gloves have lightly padded leather palms, sublimated Lycra uppers and Velcro closures.
Our 1984 7-Eleven glove design is based on the gloves worn by the United States' first major professional road racing team, 7-Eleven. The team wore numerous different styles of gloves between 1981 and 1990. This design is one of the first Lycra gloves the team used and can be seen in photos of riders in 1984. Davis Phinney appeared on the cover the Winning magazine that year wearing the original design.
